One of the Dojo’s outstanding collegiate role models, Hamish Horan has his sights firmly set on achieving an Olympic level goal…

Hamish has achieved much success and these achievements were recently acknowledged with a wonderful article in the Wellington’s Dominion Post this week….

Seido Karate North Island Tournament Announced – Saturday 24th October 2015

It’s official, the Seido Karate North Island Tournament for 2015 will be held on Saturday 24th October at the Renouf Tennis Centre…in Wellington

Students 10 years of age and up only will be able to enter this year….

So let’s all get fitter, stronger and faster and get ready to compete hard as a Dojo….these tournaments are always fun and challenging…

You get to meet old friends and make new ones all day long…..

Dojo Black Belts Scholarship awarded to Outstanding Junior student Ryan Marson – 23rd June 2015

The “smiles” say it all as the Dojo’s first Black Belts Scholarship was awarded to a most deserving and outstanding junior student for 2015 Ryan Marson…

A new award to the Dojo and created by the Dojo’s Black Belt students, the award is presented to one junior student each year in acknowledgement of their diligence and dedication to their karate training…

A proud Ryan Marson is the recipient of the Scholarship for 2015…

The Scholarship also covering travel and accommodation costs for the selected student to attend the Seido Karate National Australian Tournament in Sydney in November later in the year…

Keep up the great work Ryan…

It was an evening of grading challenge for all students in the Junior Yellow Belt grading Group….
The emotional ups and downs faced in the grading shared by all grading students, their families and friends in support on the night…
Despite the backdrop of torrential rain and flooding outside, every student demonstrated their individual and undeniable levels of “spirit and never quit attitudes” throughout…
