Grading News from Seido Karate Melbourne – Success for talented former Lower Hutt junior Jacob Barker Saturday 21st March 2015

We had exciting news over the weekend…one of our former talented juniors, Jacob Barker (now resident with his family in Melbourne) gained grading success at his new Seido Dojo in Melbourne…

Under the watchful eye of Sensei Tome Spasevski, the Dojo’s principal instructor, Jacob was put through his paces and emerged triumphant with grading success…

Proud mum and fellow karate-ka dad Matt were there on the day and sent us these great pictures to keep us all in touch with their karate journey…

Congratulations Jacob…we all miss seeing you all at Lower Hutt Dojo Rachael and Matt….

OSU and much love from us all at Lower Hutt Dojo

Well supported by mum and grandma and junior students, talented junior Jerry Bian showed wonderful determination and strength throughout his first grading experience…

Off to China to see family for several months, Jerry asked if he could undergo his grading before he leaves next month….

He certainly rose to the challenge…

Well done Jerry….safe travels and see you when you get back….

Festive Season Atmosphere to Final Adults Grading for the Year – Tuesday 16th December 2014

The Dojo was filled with a festive season atmosphere as the 2 adults groups gave their all in the final adults grading of the year…..

The grading proving challenging for the group with high temperatures, high humidity and questionable festive season singing by the large support group adding to their distractions on the night…..

Well done to you all it was a wonderful demonstration of commitment, determination and desire…..

It was the best way to end the year for our Wonderful Dojo kids….It was a game of “Spray and Walk Away”

The Kids tried valiantly to demonstrate their kata in front of the “enthusiastically armed” adult students judging panel……needless to say no-one walked away without getting sprayed…..

The pictures say it all…..Fun, Fun, Fun
