Parents, families and students all having a real blast with all Group trip activities and get togethers…
 
And, YES don’t forget the Big Tournament Day….Everyone competing hard and learning much from the day and making new friends…
 
Thank you to everyone who helped with the massive Fundraising efforts and a BIG thank you to our amazing Trip “Camp Mum” Tracy Ediriweera for keeping everyone in line and fully informed of all the trip activities….

Amazing Kids demonstrate true SEIDO spirit throughout challenging grading – Thursday 9th November 2017

It was another demonstration of the amazing fortitude and courage of our incredible junior students as they battled their way through the challenges of their grading last night….
 
The highlight of the grading the open honesty of this very talented group of juniors when talking about the love and uniqueness of their parents and families…
 
Lots of tears and lots of love being shared with all who came to support…
 
Well Done…I am very proud to have each of you as students and your parents and families as such an important part of our growing Dojo family….

Smiles all around as the Dojo Junior Academy Group prepare for their trip to Sydney in a couple of weeks to compete at this years SEIDO Karate Australian National Tournament…

Without people like Tracy and our amazing community of parents our Junior Academy Programme would not get to enjoy the privileges of travelling to Sydney each year…

It was a perfect day to celebrate SEIDO Kapiti Dojo’s first ever shodan grading…warm sunshine, a huge turn out of support and a wonderful demonstration of spirit and determination by shodan candidate Kimberley making the day a total success…

SEIDO KARATE NORTH ISLAND TOURNAMENT – Saturday 7th October 2017

It was a great day out for ALL at the SEIDO Karate North Island Tournament – Saturday 7th October 2017
 
The day was full of energy and kiai as the 125 competitors demonstrated their best karate for all to admire….
 
It was fantastic to see so many senior Sei Shihan, Jun Shihan and Kyoshi form all over the country and Australia attend the tournament….
 
The SEIDO Karate Lower Hutt Dojo enjoying a very full on day with students competing and the “Fundraising Crew” providing the Coffee and Food for ALL on the day as a Dojo fundraiser for this years Junior Academy Group trip to Sydney in November….

Talent, tenacity and truth on show at Junior Student Grading – Wednesday 20th September 2017

It was a most amazing display of junior talent, tenacity and truth when 6 of the Dojo’s very talented juniors faced the challenges of with their green belt grading….
 
All students challenged physically and mentally and all emerging proud and triumphant to be rewarded for their efforts with junior green belts around their waists…
 
Well done to you all and a tremendous thank you to your fantastic parents for all their support and commitment in supporting your karate journeys with us at our wonderful little Dojo….

Talented Juniors shine at Karate New Zealand Lower North Island Primary and Intermediate Schools Tournament – Sunday 27th August 2017

WOW, what a BIG DAY OUT for the Dojo….
 
It was an afternoon of keen and enthusiastic competition at the Karate New Zealand hosted Primary and Intermediate Schools tournament held at South Wellington Intermediate School in Newtown, Wellington…
 
With a tournament group of 55 juniors, it was a full on day with each and every child entered into all 3 tournament event categories, SEIDO Kata, KNZ Open Kata and 3 person Team Kata…
 
Proudly supported by families, friends and fellow students it was a day full of surprises, cheers, tears and personal achievement for all…
