Wonderful demonstration of Confidence and Patience from committed Juniors throughout grading – Thursday 26th October 2016

It was a wonderful demonstration of the lessons learnt from their training as a great bunch of Juniors worked their way through the challenges of their first grading….

Each student in their own unique ways overcoming the many challenges placed in front of them on grading night…..proudly supported by families, friends and fellow students, all emerged with smiles of personal achievement as they gained grading success…

Well done to all Juniors and thank you as always to all families, friends and fellow students for your amazing support of a great bunch of Juniors..

Service Medal by the Governor General of New Zealand, the Right Honourable
Dame Patsy Reddy….
The award was presented to Hanshi for services to Karate and the
community…..
Hanshi was proud to receive the award on behalf of the Nelson Seido karate
community and the Worldwide Seido Karate Organisation – OSU

Talented Juniors show grit and determination to gain grading success – Thursday 20th October 2016

It was a true display of talent, grit and sheer guts from 8 of the Dojo’s most talented juniors…

As always the amazing support of fellow students and families and friends urging them all to keep going and to overcome the challenges faced during the evening’s grading….

The real appreciation and love that you all have for your families, the true highlight of the evening….

Congratulations – Upper Hutt Seido Karate Junior’s gain Shodan grading success – Saturday 15th October 2016

It was a day of pride and celebration for Senpai Graeme, Upper Hutt Seido Karate’s principal instructor as he challenged and guided 2 of his junior black belt students to grading success…

The special occasion was well supported by senior black belts and students from all 6 of the Wellington region’s Dojo’s….

Congratulations to new Junior Senpai’s Olivia Phillips and Jordan Cocker (both only 15 years of age)….
