A strong family values oriented dojo

Truly “AWE Inspiring” Efforts by All – Shodan Grading Saturday 9th April 2022

It was a truly “awe inspiring” day where the limitless boundaries of the human spirit were on full display for all in attendance to witness and experience…

Despite being pushed to breaking points both physically and emotionally, all 4 individuals always resolute in their self belief and passionate desires to reach the very special milestone achievement of shodan together….

Their journeys so firmly supported and shared with the presence of their families, friends and loved ones….made even more special when considering all the extra challenges placed upon you each amidst the frustrating and constantly changing limitations with COVID over the last 2 years…

Your efforts on your special day were “Simply AWE Inspiringly Superhuman”…..and so true to the Kaicho’s SEIDO attitude towards life of never giving up no matter the challenges presented in our lives…..

Thank you to you each as amazing students of the Dojo, thank you to your families for allowing you the time away from home, thank you to your training partners for their encouragement and support throughout and thank you to all the generous students, parents and families of SEIDO Karate Lower Hutt for your limitless support and generosity with the gifts of food and drink which always appear whenever we have significant and special celebratory occasions such as this at our wonderful little Dojo…

Dedicated duo overcome grading challenges with honesty and true perseverance – Thursday 31st March 2022

It was an amazing demonstration of honesty and true perseverance as both students overcame the many grading challenges on the night…

The raw physicality endured when undergoing a grading always balanced with the shared emotion between students, families and fellow students in attendance when individuals express their personal reasons for continuing with their karate-do journeys…

Despite each journey being so very different and diverse in nature, the unique bonds so embedded in SEIDO, Love, Respect and Obedience always bringing everyone together to appreciate the dedication and super human efforts of those who give their all on grading occasions……..

Well done and congratulations Jason and Lucian and thank you to your incredible families….

Thank you to everyone for your wonderful and limitless support of the Dojo and it’s amazing Community in such challenging COVID times…
